PHP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.

- ILH 12 BEDS, IMMC 23 BEDS (ILH has capped beds currently)

What types of -Rehab -patients will the clinician care for? -

- Acute Rehab patient population can be: Spinal cord injury, brain injury, oncology, limb loss, trauma/ortho, general debilitation. Nurses with Acute Rehab background or Med-Surg background are the most successful with our population.

Certification Requirements
- BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements
- Iowa

Compact Allowed
Additional License Requirements
- Stroke Certification encouraged due to patient population

Shift Notes:
Nights: 12 hr shifts, 36 hrs/week

Travelers must be COVID vaccinated
Radius rule: 60miles
EMR - EPIC
Traveler will be required to float between Iowa Methodist Medical Center & Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
ideal candidate has Acute Rehab and/or Med Surg background in hospital setting
MUST be able to handle a variety of patients independently (neuro, ortho, trauma, oncology, etc)
BLS (AHA), Stroke Certification encouraged due to patient population
