• Employment Type: TravelA day in the life of a Registered Nurse at Iowa Lutheran Hospital involves being a vital part of the interdisciplinary team, contributing professional nursing knowledge and skills in patient care through the nursing process. Nurses utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system and receive overtime (OT) and holiday pay at a multiplier of 1.25x, with OT billed after 40 hours regardless of the weekly guarantee. Currently, blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated, and travelers may be required to float to all campuses, including Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, and Methodist West Hospital, within their pertinent skill set and contracted unit.To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least one year of medical-surgical experience working travel contracts in a hospital or medical center setting. The client prefers that clinicians do not take more than seven days off in a 13-week contract and requires at least one recently completed travel contract. The submission profile must include work history or a resume, a home or taxable address listed somewhere in the profile, a skills checklist completed within one year of submission, license verification, a copy of a valid BLS (AHA) or ARC certification, and references (highly preferred, though they can be completed during onboarding if an offer is accepted).Codeforce Healthcare Job ID #56643.
