  • Travelers must be COVID vaccinated; Medical/Religious Exemptions provided upon request.
  • As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.
  • Traveler will be required to float between Iowa Methodist Medical Center & Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
  • Unit size: ILH 12 BEDS, IMMC 23 BEDS (ILH has capped beds currently)
  • N:P ratio: IMMC Day 4.5, Eve 4.5 Night 7.6 (Max Ratio Day 6 and Night 9) ILH Day/Night 6.
  • Acute Rehab patient population can be: Spinal cord injury, brain injury, oncology, limb loss, trauma/ortho, general debilitation.
    • Job Requirements
    • Ideal candidate has Acute Rehab and/or Med Surg background in hospital setting.
    • MUST be able to handle a variety of patients independently (neuro, ortho, trauma, oncology, etc).
    • Client prefers that the Clinicians do not take more than 7 days off in a 13 week contract.
    • At least 1 successful travel contract completed.
    • Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date)
    • License verification
    • Copy of BLS (AHA) or ARC
    • References - highly preferred (if not provided, will be required to complete during onboarding if candidate accepts an offer)
