PRN Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medication Aide needed to pick up shifts that will work into YOUR schedule! This is a perfect situation for someone who just wants to work some extra hours, or is a nursing student! We have a variety of shifts available and can even accommodate a schedule that needs some short shifts 6a-10a or 4p-8p - we will work with you and be flexible to find the right shifts! Must be very reliable and resident focused.

We have a PRN opening for various shifts for special C.N.A's that will take the best care of our residents possible!

***NOTE: All new hires must provide proof of this year's flu shot BEFORE they can be scheduled for orientation.

**We do hire new grads - but you must be Active and in good standing on the Iowa C.N.A. Registry and have passed all of the testing.

Certified nursing assistants are responsible for providing personal care and assistance to residents as directed by the unit charge nurse, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or designee. Certified nursing assistants will be responsible to help residents with personal hygiene, including assistance with dressing, grooming, going to the bathroom, feeding, and the giving of baths/showers. Certified nursing assistants are responsible for observing and reporting changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to the unit charge nurse.

--- High school diploma or equivalent - also must speak, read, write and comprehend English fluently

--- Satisfactory completion of the 75-hour nursing assistant course required

--- Certified nursing assistant certificate required

--- Valid and current on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry through the Department of Inspection and Appeals
